Well, saturday again. I just went home from the shop where I usually get my DVD west tv serial supplay. I got the latest season of House and Smallville. And now I just need to find a time to watch it, since in the dvd area I'm still trying to catch up with SGA: Atlantis series (all thanks for:

popkin16 -san and kakairupowns -san who introduce the series to me).

Anyway, in one hour, I'm going to pick up my friends. We're going to watch midnight show. I dunno what kind of film they're going to choose to watch, since I honestly didn't follow what they've been play at the movie theater, lately. The last movie that I saw in movie theater was Fast And Furious, the latest Harry Potter, Transformer: Revenge Of The Fallen and Public Enemies (edited in sunday:  I forgot to mentioned, I  had watch Final Destination 3D, too!. Awesome movie, by the way ^_^). I wonder if either Star Trek or Jennifer's Body already in the theater or not. Actually, I've seen Star Trek through DVD during my last holiday, but I don't mind watching it again in movie theater.

I miss Pie, btw. Having her talk through sms and yahoo mail, isn't the same like actually seeing her face to face. It's weird when I hang out with my other friends, my mind start drifting to her. Once I told her about this, and she only answered, that she's been cursing me so that I can't stop thinking about her. Hahaha, funny.

 

Man, I really need to spare me some time to visiting her. She said there's a lot of Harajuku fashion shop spot in where she live now, and that I'm going to like it.

Hey, everyone. How are you all?.

 

For few of my f-list, whose also celebrates Ramadhan, I would like to say “Minal Aidin Wal Faidzin, Mohon Maaf Lahir Dan Bathin”. I hope, just like I did, you guys have a great holiday with your family and friends.

 

Anyway, just this year, before Ramadhan, we had to face an ordeal with a powerful earthquake hit in 7,3-7,4 magnitude that happened in some of my country region, Tasikmalaya, Cianjur, Sukabumi, Bekasi, and Bandung, at Western Java. My best friend Pie who just moving in to Bandung for a job opportunity had the chance to experience and survive from the quake.

 

And now, after Ramadhan, we have to face another ordeal. A very powerful earthquake happened again. This time took place in Padang, at Western Sumatra. The quake hit with 7,6 magnitude skala richter in Wednesday. It’s the same fault line that made the Indian Ocean tsunami which happened way back in 2004.

 

Up until now. a week after it happened, the government still in the middle of channelization all the aid that needed, evacuating the survivor and extractive the corpses at the location.

 

Some of the victims included:

-all three small town/village went completely annihilated, only 16 peoples left as survivor.

-just in Ambacang Hotel only, there’s 100 corpses already extractive, unguessable the total amount of it will increase until 200.

-total corpses extractive reach up until 700 body and still counting.

-along with power and telecommunications, economic also went dead.

Some fact from the location of the eartquake:

-the most needed is transportation (and probably another new secure traffic lane), since lots of donation can’t make into the crucial location, because in some spot there’s some survivor whose waylaying the transportation so they can take and have the donation first.

-the psychological/mental condition of all the childrens whose happened to be some of the survivor, also needed attention, too.

-35 region still haven’t touched by the aid team, yet.

-premium (gasoline engine) became scarce (it cost until Rp.30 ribu per liter).

-there is a lot of chance that the earthquake still will have the continuation.

-bmg predicted that in two days later, there will be a huge typhoon coming in, which will constraining the aid team to do their job.

Hoi hoi, everyone …

How are you all at my f-list?. Hopefully, you all in a good health and good time. I know, I’ve been abandoning this journal for a while. Lots of reason I can give you, but I think it will sounded cliché much. Beside most of it are private, and I’m honestly kinda not comfortable enough to write it down in this entry. So I just going to skip it for now.

And just straight to the main entry.

But before that, I would like to say my condolences first, to some of the celebrities below, that just passed away during my offline from LJ:

He is a very awesome and a great warrior in the world of poetry and literature, even before all the boys imitates Rangga from “Ada Apa Dengan Cinta” the movie, and became fascinated with poetry to reach their ladies heart, WS. Rendra already from long time ago became the power of the beautifully art of poetry and literature in my country. It’s a huge loss for us with his death.

Mbah Surip

He’s like the new rasta icon from my country. But, he had to go away so fast. Anyway, a little story here. The day before my birthday, I kinda went home late, already almost midnight, and there’s no restaurant still open near my neighborhood. The only one place still open, it was a little stall selling Martabak (almost look like Okonomiyaki in Japan), and since I’m kinda lazy to cook something of my own for the late dinner, I decide to stop my car and buy some. While waiting my order, suddenly there’s this security guard from the estate where I lives came near me, and because he know me, we had a talks for a while. Mostly about the preparation of Independence Day celebration in our neighborhood, since I’m one of the committee. From there, he mentioned that it would be great if Mbah Surip, if he still alive, the one who’ll perform as one of the performer artist in stage during the celebration. When he saw me only silence and didn’t give any response, he asked “Oh, sorry. You must be not familiar with Mbah Surip, right?”. And I replied, that I’m pretty much familiar with the name. And yes, I read and watch the news about him (also, how come you not know about him, if every morning you have breakfast with him hanging around on tv singing his famous song). He then explained, that he knows from another conversations with some other peoples from our neighborhood, that some of them, actually never heard of Mbah Surip. From what he said next, I kinda concluded that because he thought they all came from some sort of high-class society, they kinda not fascinated by Mbah Surip, and that’s why they didn’t know about him. You know, something like “different origin, different taste”. I want to argued, because I kinda belive on the contrary, “all depends on the said person”. But, then I just keep listening, because I realize, that Mbah Surip did much more noticeable among less wealthy society. His song did touch more into the heart of common folks. And spread by the help of them, along the streets by every of the street artist who singing his song or by every kids in the slum area that playing with their friends while singing it. He is a great artist, and I’ve got to admitt, although he used to be old enough to be everyone grandpa, but I like his funky attitude. God bless you, Mbah Surip…

His death kinda shocked me. My mom used to loves his songs and play it over and over in my childhood, so yeah, I kinda get used to and enjoy his songs as well. I also remember, I used to practiced cheerleading in Junior high with his “Black or White”. It’s one of my favorite song. And the fact that Odachi-sensei Thriller Bark arc was loosely base from his “Thriller” song, it’s just awesome. I know lot of controversy about him, but the guy was a great talented artist, and probably even if it’s small, he did already tried to make this world as a better world through his arts or charities. Not much of peoples got the chance or the awareness to did it. So, yeah, rest in piece, Mike. God bless you…

 

Now, we reach the main entry.

About my birthday, yeah, just like I predicted before, it went into disaster. In a good way . Just like all the years before, me and some of my friends have “Threat’s Party” in one of the Javanese foods restaurant. I picked this place, because I used to have dinner with Pie in here, so I’m already pretty much know about the place. It’s kinda cozy place, too.

I knew from the start, that one of my friends somehow must brings a couple of raw eggs with them. See, there’s this tradition, which not exactly formal tradition, but lot of peoples in my place here still doing it, that whoever have their birthday, they got a “special threat” being the object of throwing event, with raw eggs being thrown at them. I know for a fact, during my high school years everyone usually get running away in the school field while “eggs wars” happened. The birthday boy or girl usually just submit to fate and enjoy it. After it ends, they can clean themselves up in the school bathroom. That’s why if they clever enough, they usually already bring another clothes to change.

After I went to college, they has a new prank tradition in here. There’s this fish pond that we usually using it to thrown away the birthday boy or girl in it. Or you can choose the dirty sewer in front of the college building if you want more extreme prank. The girls usually get the fish pond, since the boys doesn’t have the heart to thrown away a girl in the sewer.

Now, just like I mentioned above, I already knew one of my friends must be already bring the eggs. I guess it’s a payback time, since I’m usually the one who did the prank when their turn to have birthday came. So, I told them, probably kinda with half threatening, that I’m not going to pay for the foods if they still want to did it. They just cool with it, though I’m not exactly convinced.

And just right on cue, after I pay up the foods, and we all walking back to the parking lot, one of my friend stepped behind my back and smashed one egg in my hair.Suffice to say, a little riot happened. We’re kinda running along the parking lot, me trying to avoid the other eggs. And the parker guy of the restaurant also laughing watching us. Thanks to my familiarity with the internet lately, you could say that I shout “F*ck” and “Sh*t” all the time during the riot. We went to the parker guy after finished, said sorry about it. He said it’s okay, and even let us use the faucet near his guard booth to clean my hair a little. With the help of one of my friend, I wash my hair with a one sachet of shampoo that she already bring with her and change my formal clothes with a t-shirt and a shorts that I always bring inside my car just for prepared. After that we went home. On the way home, another one of my friend which I asked him to documentation the “Threats Party”, mentioned that he’s going to posted it in youtube. Hahaha, very funny. Thank God, the video camera he’s using was mine.

Anyway, this time birthday somehow also filled with the number Thirteenth. One of the presents that I got was a book called “The Thirteenth Tale” by Diane Setterfield. Then after I reach home at night, I just remember that a weeks before, I went rent a horror movie by Tony Shaloub (Monk) and Mattew Lillard called “The Thirteenth Ghost”, which I’m not watching it yet, until that night in my birthday. While still sms with one of my friend, I finished watching the movie until midnight. Since I’m not sleepy yet, I picked up randomly one of my old manga from my book case, and starting to repeat reading it. And guess what?. In one of the page, it’s only contain a picture of one of the main character mentioned about how many times he’s already appearing as the focus of the story. Yeah, it’s Thirteenth times. Weird isn’t it ? …

 

Now, in this moment of entry, I would love to say my thank you’s to some of the awesome peoples that I can’t met face to face due to something during my birthday, and yet they still already kindness enough send their felicitation to me. Thank you!   :

Oh, and I would love to go swimming at the beach near your place. I’ve been dying to swim lately, since the heat getting hot in here at my city. Not to mentioned there’s this contruction project going on near my neighborhood estate. They building the new turnpike skyway. Recently, everytime I passed the road, it’s always dusty and hot. Well, I guess that’s all. Y’know, it’s been a roller coaster ride this year. Some just awesomely SUPER! ~ and some just broken my heart to pieces, seriously. But in the end it’s an experience, afterall. You get to learn from there and hopefully will make us a much more cool adult. Since, honestly, sometimes there’s time when I’m still felt that I’m not a responsible adult, yet. I mean, running along in the restaurant parking lot with eggs being thrown away?. Doesn’t sound to be a responsible adult or being 28 and all (MY GOD! 28! I’M OLD!). But I’ve got to be honest, it was fun. And sometimes, that’s all matter to me. Because I get to see everyone look happy and laughed. And for that, thanks a lot for all of my friends. BLESS YOU ALL. LOVE YOU ALL .

 

PS: Just like I’ve told 

kakairupowns -san before, I’m going to regularly online writing One Piece again in september. And if it’s okay with you all at my f-list, during august, I probably going to filled it with a fic from other fandom. It’s not an anime, manga or tv series fandom. It’s from a movie with a franchise. It’s not a big fandom like One Piece. But the pairing, I think it’s pretty much well known. And man, I have to say, I’m definitely in love with this pairing. Anyway, since mid 2008 until now, everytime I have the time to online, I’ve came across a lots of pairing that I enjoy and loves much, but honestly, none of it, hit me like my first love ZoSan did in the end of 2007, at least until I met this new pairing. So, yeah, I would really like to try writing a fic about them. In appearance, their description almost look like ZoSan, though. One bulky, one blondie. Can you all try to guess? . Internet cookies for the right answer (and yes, I’m still curious what the hell internet cookies are. A long lost cousin from cookie monster, maybe?). Pie, being Pie who know me very well, she can guessed it right on her first try. Can you? . Y’know, it’s probably ended up bad, but writing fanfic it’s all about fun, right?. Some of my sensei’s used to say that. Btw, Jenn-san, I have to asked again, are you gonna up to beta-ing it?.

 

Also, I’m not going to post an entry until the fic that I just mentioned about finished. So, yeah, the next entry have to be that fic.

Well, it's obviously 3 AM in the morning. I should be already sleeping, or I'm gonna late for tomorrow. Damn. But, for someone who still in it's hiatus and not hanging around much in my lj, it's interesting that I actually took a little chance to online two days in a row. I guess, I really did missed my lj  :)

Anyway, my mom sms me this morning, said that she and her army of organization planning to held charity event again, this time helping building library for kids. Every of the member, beside money, should donate some second hand children books or children comics. And since she knows that I collecting books and comics, she consider me to be her source. She said I should donate some of my comics. Much better if I donate all of my comics, because I am already adult enough to read it and comics seems just for kids.

You know, I'm actually fine with donate some of my comics, but come on! I'm not going to donate all of my manga like one piece, death note, or else. This might be selfish, but it's too precious to me T_T

That's why, I sms back my mom, told her that I need time to choose up which one I'm going to donate, simply because not all of my comics for kids and some of it, are full with explicit content like sex and murder, and it's just inappropriate to donate that kind of comics to a library for kids, right?

And she goes, "really?". I think it's caught her attention, now, that not all comics for kids. Somehow, I really tempted to show the said material, someday when she come visiting me again.

This month seriously full of ordeal to my whole family. When everyone from my mother family side still have to struggle with the chemotherapy for my auntie, today everyone from my father family side have to loose one of our family. one of my uncle died of heart attack.

My auntie is a great person. she's the head of human resource development from one of the government partnership company. she's love books and funky. and one of my partner in crimes, watching and idolizing western serials (like heroes, supernatural, psych, or else) together.

While my uncle, he always a cheer up person and funky too. last holiday, I remember when our family from my father side come together in my grandma house, when one of my little cousin mentioned about my new recently hobby in photography, he's the only one who's actually listened and offering to lend me his nikon camera. I'm going to missed him, I guess.

And for everyone in here that already worried about me, because of my last entry, I really apologize, but please, don't worry again about me. my relationship with the one that I mentioned in there, already back again to normal. that probably one of the good that happened this month. well, also with roronoa zoro's birthday, of course.
